My name is Christian Kienle. I am a Mac OS X and iOS developer and currently living in Philippsburg, Germany. Before I became a developer in the Apple-ecosystem in 2003 I developed web and cross-platform applications using PHP and C++ (Qt). My "career" as a Mac developer began with the creation of a flash-cards application which is now known as Flashcards. A few years later I developed Core Data Editor, a tool for developers who are using Core Data. From then on I developed more than a half a dozen apps. Some of them have been discontinued, some of them have been acquired by companies and the rest is still available and maintained. I am a prototype driven developer. This means that I write a prototype for each and every of my ideas. The sad thing (for me) is that only about 2-5% of my prototypes become actual products. Amin Negm-Awad and I wrote a book about Objective-C and Cocoa. I enjoyed this very much. Writing makes fun and we will definitely publish more books as time goes on. I enjoy playing StarCraft II (please contact me (nick: cmk, character code: 988) if you wanna play a custom game against me), watch a lot of animes and science fiction series.
